Properties of interlining

The physical properties of the lining include the thickness of the lining, the elasticity of the lining, the ironing temperature of the lining and the pressure required for the ironing of the lining.

(1) Both non-woven interlining and woven interlining have varying degrees of thickness. The thickness of interlining is the same as that of fabric, which is difficult to measure. It can only be judged by vision and perception. Generally, the thickness of interlining is divided into three types: thin, medium and thick.

(2) There are two kinds of elastic force of the woven lining cloth of the elastic yarn material, one is the elastic force of the woven lining cloth itself, the other is the tensile degree of the warp and weft yarn weaving gap due to stretching, and the elastic force of the non-woven lining cloth is the tensile degree of the non-woven lining material itself.

(3) Lining pressing temperature refers to the temperature at which the lining viscose is heated and melted. Usually, there are two kinds of lining: high-temperature lining and low-temperature lining.

(4) The firmness of interlining ironing on the fabric is related to the interlining ironing temperature, the pressure required for interlining ironing and the ironing time. Generally, the ironing pressure of high-temperature interlining is relatively large and the ironing time is relatively long. On the contrary, the ironing pressure of low-temperature interlining is relatively small and the ironing time is relatively short.
